The students are currently reading "The Kid in the Red Jacket". This book will be the second in a thematic unit on "Tolerance." Each day the student will have vocabulary words and will read a chapter from the book. Then they are expected to complete a packet that has been prepared for them from the story that deals with both language and reading content. Short pop quizzes may be expected.
