MATH: multiplication, division, fraction, geometry, and problem solving
SOCIAL STUDIES: Native Americans, Early Explorers, Anglo settlers, Republic of Texas, Confederate Texas, Texas as part of the United States, and Texas today
SCIENCE: living things, ecosystems, Earth surface, patterns in Earth and space, matter and energy, forces and motion
WRITING: grammar skills, four modes of writing (narrative, persuasive, compare and contrast, and how-to)
READING: vocabulary, main idea, supporting details, inferencing, summarization, fact and opinion
